The German clarinetist at Rebecca Trescher and the Greek guitarist Giorgos Tabakis, combine their musical pursuits with their own distinct musical language and expressiveness.

Their cd Dual Nature (published by Ekfrassis Productions 2020) was distinguished internationally by winning the silver medal in the Global Music Awards (Silver Medal – Outstanding Achievement 2020).

It was on the best jazz on bandcamp (June 2020) as well as in the best list of Greek releases (Lifo magazine July 2020).

It was included in the DIY cd/artist section of the eDownbeat magazine (September – November 2020).

The band presents original compositions for 8 string guitar and clarinet & bass clarinet, combining contemporary music and european jazz elements with it’s personal sound and energy.

The compositional balances between modern classical, jazz, contemporary, ethnic music, proposing the personal and the point of view of the project in an artistic way.

Dual Nature’s response from critics was excellent with a lot of excellent reviews from journalists, jazz magazines, sites in Europe and US, with many fm radio stations including it in their program.
